How to Care for Your Natural Bronze Jewelry

Natural bronze evolves beautifully over time — its surface may gently deepen into a rich, antique hue that many find full of character and warmth. At Moiselle Jewels, our bronze pieces are crafted with a protective anti-tarnish coating to slow this natural oxidation process.

To preserve your piece’s radiant golden glow for as long as possible:

  • Store it in a sealed, air-tight pouch (like a small zip-lock bag) to minimize exposure to air and humidity.

  • Keep it away from moisture — avoid wearing it while bathing, swimming, or exercising.

  • Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, and cleaning agents, as these can dull the finish.

  • Jewelry that rests directly against the skin may oxidize more quickly due to natural oils.

We include a soft polishing cloth with your order — use it to gently restore luster when needed. For a more thorough polish, you may use a commercial cleaner designed specifically for bronze or brass (such as Brasso). Always follow the product’s instructions carefully.

Bronze jewelry is meant to be lived in — its evolving patina tells the story of its wearer. Whether you love the high shine or the soft aged tone, both are part of its beauty.

How to Care for Your Sterling Silver & Silver-Plated Jewelry

Sterling silver and silver-plated pieces naturally develop a soft patina over time — a subtle change that adds character but can be gently restored to brilliance.

To keep your silver jewelry luminous:

  • Wear it often — natural movement and gentle contact help prevent tarnish.

  • Store pieces in a dry, airtight container when not in use, away from humidity.

  • Avoid prolonged contact with cosmetics, perfumes, or harsh chemicals.

Tarnish is easiest to remove when it first appears. Use the silver polishing cloth included with your Moiselle Jewels order to restore shine. For more stubborn tarnish, a commercial silver cleaner formulated specifically for sterling silver may be used — follow all product directions carefully.

For silver-plated jewelry, polish gently to avoid rubbing away the delicate silver layer.

Your silver pieces deserve a little love — with care, they will continue to mirror your light for years to come.

How to Care for Your Leather Accessories

Each Moiselle Jewels leather piece is crafted with attention and intention — a natural material that ages gracefully when treated with care.

To preserve its supple texture and rich tone:

  • Condition your leather every few months using a high-quality leather conditioner.

  • Always test a small, inconspicuous area first. Allow the leather to dry completely (at least 24 hours).

  • Keep leather away from excessive heat, moisture, and sunlight.

  • Some natural leathers contain high levels of wax — if a misty white layer appears due to temperature change, simply buff it gently with a dry cloth.

Leather is alive — it breathes, softens, and changes with time. With simple maintenance, your leather accessory will remain as timeless and elegant as the day you first wore it.
